Alternative to education – exceptional ability
If you do not hold an advanced degree, you must satisfy at least 3 out of the 6 criteria below to demonstrate "exceptional ability":

10+ years of experience

Documentation of at least 10 years of full-time professional experience in your field.

High salary

Evidence of a salary or other remuneration that demonstrates exceptional ability relative to others in your profession.

Professional memberships

Membership in professional associations that require excellence for admission.

Peer recognition

Letters of recommendation and recognition for your achievements and significant contributions from colleagues and industry leaders.

Industry contribution

Evidence of a significant and original contribution to your industry or field.

Professional license

A license to practice your profession or certification for a specific occupation.
